People of Shambhala

Muslim persecution of Christians and Jews often fails to mobilize liberal-minded folks, who might otherwise be expected to oppose the intolerant, totalitarian, and misogynistic tendencies displayed by Islam. They seem to hesitate at the idea of making common cause with Christian and Jewish believers.

A new website called People of Shambhala provides a politically correct way for progressives to conceptualize the destructive and illiberal behavior of Muslims. It highlights the oppression of Hindus, Buddhists, Baha’is, Zoroastrians, and other religious groups that are acceptable to people who shy away from any stance that resembles “Islamophobia”.
